New art and Website Update

Hello Everyone :):)
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!!
i had a wonderful christmas with my family and want to thank
all of you for the wonderful cards,wishes and gifts *hugs*

Found some free time and updated my website with some new art
i completed within the month just recently got permission to
share this commission of a baby girl :)

I also got some news from artwanted.com that i placed
2nd in Santa Claus art contest,

it was unexpected but a nice surprise :)

I also re-wrote my website in php mode with
the help of a good friend, and it will be so much easier for me
to edit my webiste especially when adding new products and important news :)

Hello Everyone,
this is my very first post here at Blogger,
My name is Katerina Koukiotis also known as (Katerinaart.com)
I'm a fantasy/portraiture artist from Queens N.Y

I'm not very good at keeping up with blogs
and i have a few online including DA , LJ , Myspace,
Facebook,Twitter,Vox,Enchanted Folk
and probably others i can't remember,I feel bad
i can't always keep up but i try my best.

A little bit about my art , i always had a passion
for drawing especially portraits and fantasy related
subjects, i love working in graphite pencil and paintings
in watercolor,acrylics and color pencils.


This is my newest drawing i did of Ava Maria in honor
of Christmas based on actress Olivia Hussey who portrayed
the role of Mary in the epic mini series Jesus of Nazareth.



I would love to give my blog the same look as my DA journal prehaps when i have more time but i have added the most important info i think :)
